Ships nationwide TEFA & state ESA funds accepted

A storefront for the skills school doesn't stock.

Tools, kits, and equipment your student can actually use — practical trades, design and motion, AI and electronics, and the harder stuff nobody sells: handling a situation, holding your ground, turning a skill into value.

% of every order goes to cutting CO₂. Read the ledger →

Nationwide

We ship to families in all 50 states, whatever program funds the order.

Funding help

Not set up yet? We walk families through applying and getting funded.

Invoice-ready

Every order is itemized to map cleanly onto eligible expense categories.

Reinvested

A fixed share of proceeds is committed to carbon reduction before profit.

What these tools build

School covers the basics. We stock everything after that.

A young person can pass every class and still not know what to do when a situation turns, when they're the only one in the room who thinks something is wrong, or when they have a skill and no idea what it's worth.

That's the gap we supply. Not another curriculum — equipment, kits, and guided projects a student works through and keeps. What they build is capability they can point at, and the confidence that comes with it, which is a far better defence against bad influence than being told to make good choices.

Handling it

Knowing what to do when something goes sideways

Conflict, pressure, authority, emergencies, being blamed, being wrong. Rehearsed before it counts, so the first time isn't the real time.

Self-command

Running yourself when nobody is checking

Attention, follow-through, and the discipline to finish a build that stopped being fun in the middle. The habit transfers everywhere.

Channelled energy

Somewhere to put it

Restlessness isn't a defect, it's unspent fuel. Every kit gives it a direction and a finish line — hours that would otherwise go looking for something to do.

Adding value

Being the person who can do the thing

Fixing what's broken, designing what's needed, shipping what was promised — and knowing how to price it. Value you create is leverage nobody can take.

Practical skill

Hands that know things

Tools, materials, measurement, machines, software. Competence with real objects, which is still the fastest way to stop feeling powerless.

The shop — four departments

Everything here is a kit, and every kit ends in something finished.

Order any single item or build a bundle. We invoice to match your program's expense categories, ship to your door, and include the guided project book that turns the contents into skill rather than a box in a closet.

Eligible categories differ by program and by state. Tell us where you are and what you're looking at, and we'll confirm what your funds cover before you order anything — including when the honest answer is that they don't.

Funding assistance — nationwide

No account yet? That's the part we'll do with you.

Most families who qualify for education funds never claim them, and it's almost never because they didn't want the money. It's because the application is opaque, the deadlines are quiet, and one wrong expense category gets an order bounced with no explanation.

So we sit down with you and do it properly — find out which program your state runs, work out whether you qualify, fill the thing in line by line, and make sure your first order is categorised so it clears the first time.

Funds we currently accept

Texas TEFA

We ship to all 50 states. Vendor registration is per program, so if yours isn't listed yet, ask — we'll tell you straight whether we can serve it or whether you're better off elsewhere.

What the setup service covers
  • 01We identify which ESA, voucher, or school-choice program your state runs, and whether it's currently open.
  • 02We check eligibility with you before you spend an hour on an application you can't win.
  • 03We walk the application line by line, on a call or over email, whichever you prefer.
  • 04We tell you exactly which documents to gather, and review them before you submit.
  • 05Once you're funded, we set up your vendor details and place a correctly categorised first order.
Fee Typical time

We help you file. We don't decide the outcome — approval rests entirely with the agency that runs your state's program, and no vendor can promise you an award.

Bundles

Buy the shelf, not the item.

Bundles are priced below the sum of their parts and invoiced as a single line with the contents itemized underneath — which is the format most program portals want to see anyway.

Multiple students in the house? Say so — we'll quote per student on one invoice so you're not filing the same paperwork twice. And if the balance you're working with doesn't reach a bundle, tell us the number and we'll build to it.

The carbon ledger — our pledge

We sell kids the tools to build things. Then we pay to clean up after the building.

A fixed share of what you spend here is committed to cutting carbon emissions — not what's left over at the end of a good year, a fixed share taken off the top, before we count profit. It's written into how every item on the shelf is priced.

We'd rather earn the order twice: once because the kit is worth owning, and once because the money does something after it leaves your account.

%

of every order, committed to carbon reduction and clean-air work

Verified carbon removal & offset purchase%
Tree planting and urban canopy projects%
Low-carbon kit materials and recycled packaging%
Carbon-neutral shipping on every order%
Total committed per order%
In the box

Every order ships with a one-page impact card showing what it funded — tonnes, trees, and where. The AI Literacy kit then uses real emissions data as its practice dataset, so the pledge doubles as a lesson in reading numbers honestly.

Why we do it

Selling a young person tools for the world they're inheriting while doing nothing about the state of it is a contradiction they will notice. Kids are unusually good at spotting adults who don't mean it. This is the part of the business where we have to mean it.

We publish the numbers. we post what we spent, and with whom — currently — so you can check the claim instead of taking our word for it. If we fall short of the pledge in a given period, we'll say so plainly and carry the shortfall forward.

How ordering works — four steps

From basket to doorstep.

There's no checkout button here on purpose. Education funds are paid against an approved invoice, not a card, so we quote first and your program pays us directly.

  1. Step 01

    Send us your list

Email the SKUs you want, your student's age, and your state. No form, no account to create.

  2. Step 02

    We quote it

An itemized invoice within business days, categorised to match what your program will accept.

  3. Step 03

    Submit for approval

Upload our invoice and vendor details to your program portal. We'll supply anything else it asks for.

  4. Step 04

    It ships

Within business days of approval, tracked, carbon-neutral, to your door.

Questions families ask
Do you only work with Texas families?

No — we ship to all 50 states. What varies is the funding: TEFA is Texas's program, and other states run their own ESA, voucher, or school-choice programs with separate vendor registration and different rules about what counts as an eligible expense. The programs we're currently registered with are listed in the funding section. If yours isn't there, ask — we'll tell you honestly whether we can serve it.

Are you a school, a tutor, or a store?

A store. We supply tools, kits, and equipment along with the project books that make them worth owning. We don't enrol students, run classes, or issue grades — which also means your funds go toward materials your student keeps rather than hours that end.

I don't have an education savings account yet. Can you help?

Yes, and it's free of the usual runaround — see funding assistance. We identify your state's program, check eligibility with you, walk the application through line by line, and set up your first order so it clears. What we can't do is approve anything: the awarding decision belongs entirely to the agency running your program, and any vendor who promises you an award is one to avoid.

How do I know an item is eligible before I buy it?

Ask us first, always. Categories differ by program and change between years. Send your state and the SKUs and we'll confirm in writing what your funds cover — including when the answer is that they don't cover something, which happens and is better learned before the invoice than after.

Why is there no checkout button?

Because education funds pay against an approved invoice rather than a card. Adding a cart would just create a payment you'd have to reverse. We quote, your program approves, we ship — and you never front the money.

Can I buy without using program funds?

Plenty of families want a kit outside their allocation or don't qualify for a program at all, so it's worth answering this one clearly.

What ages are these for?

Broadly 8–18, graded by readiness rather than grade level. The tool roll and the electronics bench assume supervision at the younger end; the design, motion, and skill-to-income kits land best from about 13 up. Tell us the student and we'll steer you.

What's your returns policy?

Families spending restricted funds reasonably want this in writing before they order, and some programs require a published policy on file.

How can I verify the carbon spending you advertise?

We publish a summary of what was committed and where it went, including the partner we purchased through. Ask for the most recent one before you order — we'd rather you check.

Contact & getting started

Tell us your state and your list.

One email starts it, whether that's an order, an eligibility question, or "we have nothing set up and don't know where to begin." All three land in the same inbox.
